Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal activist and a writer, who has won numerous Awards. Her movies are Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). Growing up in a family of artists living in New York she wished to be a part of the arts. While working as a photographer's assistant She turned her focus to acting and modeling. She was noticed in her first two movies and received Golden Globe Award for Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw became a household name following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was nominated for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. With just three movies she was the highest-rated female box office star across the globe. Her footprints from 1972 along with her signature were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography, of hers was published. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
