Hayley Orrantia, an American actor, singer and songwriter. People are familiar with her because of her role in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular comedy television series 'The Goldbergs.' Her primary focus is as a performer. According her, is first thing she loves. Her first time playing the instrument at the age of nine. The first time she began to study music professionally when she was 12. As a teenager when she began writing her own music. The first album she released as a cover wasn't released until fourteen years later. The rest is history. Orrantia was raised in the USA, yet has Hispanic heritage. She's proud of the fact that she has Hispanic roots despite using English only and never lived in Mexico. To keep her heritage alive she's learning Spanish. She also creates songs using the language. One of her attempts was a Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first episode of The X Factor. Orrantia received four "yeses" from the panel of judges on the Seattle live audition stage following being selected from her YouTube video submission. She was originally an individual performer. However, following "Hollywood Week" and three other female performers were added to a group to continue the auditions. The live shows were held in the 5th week.
