Hayley Orantia is American actress, musician and performer. Many people recognize her character Erica Goldberg in the comedy TV series 'The Goldbergs'. But, she is primarily a musician. Since she was 9 years older, she started playing around with music. At the age 12, she had taken serious enough about music to start studying professionally. She began songwriting when she was 13 and was 14 when she released her first album of cover songs. It has been non-stop since then. Orrantia has Hispanic origins, but was born in the USA. Despite the fact that she only spoke English throughout her childhood and never been to Mexico, Orrantia is extremely proud of her Hispanic heritage. She tries to preserve it by studying Spanish as well as writing songs using the Spanish language. The most famous of these songs is 'Hasta Verte,' which she recorded in Spanish. The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the premiere episode of The X Factor. Orrantia was chosen as a result of a YouTube video submission and received four "yes" vote from judge at the time of live auditions held in Seattle, Washington. At first, she auditioned as a soloist, she and three female singers were put together for the remaining auditions of "Hollywood Week".
