She started competing in tournaments aged 8 and has won over 50 junior titles over the course of the span of four years. Her rookie year playing on the LPGA Tour saw her finish with two places in the top 10 spots. She finished 7th at the AIG Women's Open in 2020 which was held at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee won her first LPGA Tour title at the 2022 Portland Classic. The winner dedicated it to her grandfather Min who passed away in 2012.
