Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American author, singer and performer most famous for her role as Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in for her first stage appearance. After that, she performed in several Broadway shows before becoming the most famous on stage with Li'l Abner in 1957. The same year, she debuted her debut music album called It's Tina Time. Louise was first introduced to Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Big Acre a 1957 drama film. The film was hugely popular and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. In the years prior to this she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. The next notable role she played was Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on for in 1964. Louise maintained a successful career balancing Broadway television and Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious in contrast to the glamorous image that she was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she's also earned an impact as a director who has been successful in several well-known television series including Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 28th August 1965, her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood there and her adolescence. After being chosen in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there since then.
